Back-end Engineer - Surreal

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Back-end Engineer to play a key role in developing and maintaining the back-end infrastructure for Surreal. As a Back-end Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and optimal performance of Surreal's cloud-based components.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Azure-based back-end infrastructure for Surreal, ensuring seamless integration with core AI functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions that align with industry best practices.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, ensuring the responsiveness and efficiency of the back-end systems.
  • Implement and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring the security and integrity of user data.
  • Stay abreast of Azure updates and best practices to continuously enhance Surreal's back-end capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in back-end development, with a focus on Azure services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# or Python.
  • Experience with Azure services like Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure security and compliance standards.
  • Passion for staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
